Reading unlocks a world of possibilities for our children, not only inspiring them but also giving them the necessary tools to succeed in life. World Book Day brought us all together and reinforced that reading is not only important but fun and enjoyable.
Our schools held a wide range of activities throughout the day including visits and readings from guest authors and dinosaurs, poetry sessions, families coming into school to read with us (and enjoy a snack!), and the children joined virtual reading with some of their sister schools as well:
