The children at All Saints Marsh C of E Academy, who are part of the Learning Academy Partnership, took part in a SPOTacular fundraising activity for Children In Need this year. Each child decorated a spot and they created their very own SPOTacular spotty wall.
Their spotty wall was inspired by the Obliteration Room at the Tate Gallery, and throughout the course of the day the hall wall was transformed from a blank canvas into an explosion of spotty colour!
The children loved getting creative and designing their very own individual and bespoke spots, using a variety of different techniques and textures, and there were prizes for the most special super stunning spots too!
The small school with a BIG heart raised a tremendous £100 for Children in Need, who have raised in excess of £35,000,000 to help make a difference to the lives of children and young people in communities across the UK during the cost of living crisis.
Laura Secker, Head Teacher at All Saints Marsh, said: “It was wonderful to see the children demonstrate our school values of Compassion and Creativity whilst taking part in this fundraising activity for Children in Need.
Our SPOTacular wall certainly brightened up our hall for the day, whilst helping to raise money for such a worth while cause.”
