Schools within the Learning Academy Partnership (LAP) have taken part in an across Trust Christmas tree competition to bring pupils together during this festive period.
The competition, which runs every year, allows each school to showcase their most creative ideas while also working together to bring festive cheer to their community.
This year two of the trees were very kindly donated to All Saints Marsh C of E Academy and Ellacombe C of E Academy by the Dartmoor Christmas Tree Farm.
Once all of the trees had been wonderfully decorated, voting was undertaken by the Trust’s central team.
While the competition was tough, the winning tree this year was decorated by St Michael’s C of E Academy with the tree at All Saints Marsh coming a close second.
All the pupils and staff really enjoyed decorating their trees together and working on a project that helped to brighten up their schools.
Tracey Cleverly, Trust Lead for the Learning Academy Partnership, said:
“We were all very impressed with how beautifully each school had decorated their trees; they should all be really proud.
Across the Trust, we always try to encourage our schools to work together and creating fun challenges for everyone to get involved with is a positive way for us to promote collaboration.”
