The purpose of governance is to provide confident and strong strategic leadership which leads to robust accountability, oversight and assurance for educational and financial performance.

As a School Trust we are a charitable company limited by guarantee and have both Trustees and Members. Trustees are both charity Trustees and Company Directors of the School Trust. The Board of Trustees, also referred to as the Trust Board, is the governing board, and is responsible and accountable for all the schools within our School Trust. Members are ‘eyes on and hands off’ and have a similar role to the shareholders in a company limited by shares.
